Introduced to international audiences as a member of the Irish Tenors, Ronan Tynan has overcome much adversity to become one of the most gifted and popular opera vocalists in the world. A physician and Paralympic gold medalist with 18 world records, Tynan has received critical acclaim for his pure tenor voice. His repertoire ranges from Irish ballads to show tunes to opera. His recent performances of God Bless America during the World Series and at a memorial service for victims of the September 11 tragedy, gained him widespread recognition.
