Romford Armed Forces Day Parade June 27, 2009

Details:
The parade will set off at 10:45am, travelling along South Street and then through the Market. Once the parade reaches Tollgate House, it will break ranks and participants can travel at their own pace, through the underpass to the front of the Town Hall for refreshments.

Free parking will be provided at the Town Hall, Romford for parade participants. Please enter the main car park from the rear of the building, accessed from Park End Road.

The parade form up point will be at the junction of South Street and Arcade Place. This is by the Abbey Bank and the Customs House pub. Please arrive at the form up point by 10.30am.

Refreshments at the Town Hall
Once the parade reaches the Town Hall, light refreshments will be served. Veterans unable to take part in the parade may join in with the refreshments.

There will be a collection for ‘Help For Heroes’ Campaign during the event.

Veterans who are unable to march are welcome to attend the refreshments after the parade.
