GOOD LUCK JIMMY
http://www.goodluckjimmy.com

Good Luck Jimmy is an Americana-power-pop trio. An all original band with melodic hooks and vocal harmonies, Good Luck Jimmy is comprised of three members with years of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene.

Singer-songwriters Dudley Hughes and Jerry Boxley, most recently with the band Blue Limbo, hooked up with power-popper Chris Von Sneidern in the summer of 2007 and produced an eight song EP.

Good Luck Jimmy is picking up where Blue Limbo left off. Earlier this year, Boxley and Hughes brought drummer Will Morris into the fold. Morris’ pop sensibilities, humor, and his eagerness to rock have been a welcome addition to the band.

Boxley, a former touring bassist with both John Wesley Harding and Chris von Sneidern, previously fronted the band "It's all about Jerry!". Their eponymous debut was produced by Chris von Sneidern, and the catchy, indie sound won a national songwriting contest earning Jerry Boxley a songwriting deal with Universal Music.

Hughes spent ten years with the San Francisco band, The Glow, playing Bay Area stages ranging from the Bottom of The Hill, Blakes, and The Hotel Utah Saloon.

Good Luck Jimmy is currently working on their first album, due out in the Fall of 2009. For more information, please contact Dudley Hughes at: [email protected]
