Rocky Horror Picture Show October 29, 2010

Landmark Theatres celebrates Halloween by presenting the cult favorite, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW in special midnight showings at the Clay Theatre. Both screenings will feature appearances by local ‘shadow casts’ that encourage audience participation and a party-like atmosphere.

The Clay Theatre screenings on October 29 and 30 will feature appearances by the acclaimed performance troupe, the Bawdy Caste. Performances include unique touches that can only be experienced in special theatre events: an incredible pre-show, time-warp in the aisles, props and dialogue cues at all the right moments. THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW - The longest-running midnight film of all time stars Tim Curry as the kinky yet endearing “transsexual from Transylvania” Dr. Frank N. Furter, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as his hapless guests Brad and Janet, Meat Loaf as motorcycle-riding rough trade and author Richard O’Brien as the hunchbacked butler Riff Raff. It’s all harmless fun—a delightful musical spoof of Hollywood horror movies and “old dark house” melodramas. Join us as we do the Time Warp again! Directed by Jim Sharman. (UK, 1975).
