Rocks and Minerals - Peabody Museum "On the Road" Program July 13, 2009

Peabody Museum's "On the Road" program once again comes to the Newfield Branch on Monday July 13, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. as part of the library’s “B” Green summer reading program.
This year’s theme rocks and minerals will feature a number of hands on activities provided by docents from the Peabody Museum’s volunteer program.
See and touch: * A rock that floats on water * Petrified wood * Fluorescent materials * Crystals of many colors and shapes * Learn about everyday uses of rocks and minerals.
