Rockdrive 2009 December 5, 2009

On December 5, 2009, Hotel Cafe will host ROCKDRIVE, a music benefit show geared toward raising funds for local Los Angeles non-profits. The recent cuts to the education budget have had a devastating affect to public learning institutions across the state of California. So, the theme of this evening is "Giving The Gift Of Education" and will benefit inner city literacy programs, music and art non-profits that lost their funding, and a food drive.

The artists performing at ROCKDRIVE are long-time friends and supporters of local area non-profits. They are all fixtures on the Los Angeles and national music scene, and we are honored they have chosen ROCKDRIVE worthy of their time and talent.

The video above is from L Debois, one of the musicians scheduled to perform December 5th. The song is dedicated to the youth, and reminds us that if we protect the educational opportunities for the children of today, we are ensuring they will become the leaders of tomorrow.
