Rock -N- Roll Half Marathon September 3, 2006

The Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon starts at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, runs through the scenic Virginia Beach oceanfront and finishes on the spectacular oceanfront boardwalk. Participants are treated to 14 stages along the 13.1-mile course, featuring 20 local bands approximately every mile.

At the finish line, munch on tasty treats and sip frosty beer while lounging on the sand listening to the finish line feature bands. Later that evening, a headline act will thrill the crowd at the post-race concert on the sand at the 5th Street Beach Stage.
