Rock for Haiti March 6, 2010

Hello everybody!

After the tragic earthquake in Haiti many people have been searching for a way to help. The Crafty Geek Brigade is partnering with local businesses- The North Country Co-Op and Coffee Camp as well as the PSU Student Association to make a difference.

Together we have organized A TWO NIGHT FUNDRAISER.

NIGHT ONE: will take place at the Coffee Camp (78 Margaret Street) from 7-10pm and feature:

NIGHT TWO: will take place at the North Country Co-Op (25 Bridge St) 7-10pm is an OPEN MIC and ART SHOW/SALE featuring:

Ginge and the Giants
(Luke Brown, Eric Lee, Alison Lutz, and Harrison Ronan)
Plattsburgh Folk
and
Layne Underwood
Acoustic/ Folk from Plattsburgh/Albany (http://www.myspace.com/micsloopmike)

The MC for the night will be Dj D:Vice

Along with this wonderful music will be beautiful and wonderful ARTWORK. All art work will be priced for 20 Dollars or less. There will be artwork from various mediums and from community members as well as college students. One dollar, or more, from each sale will be donated to Partners in Health!

We will also be selling t-shirts which SUNY Plattsburgh students designed. Each t-shirt is only $10 dollars and ALL PROCEEDS GO TO PARTNERS IN HEALTH. To check out the design click the link above to PIH (the design is on the left hand side).
