Rock and Roll with Delhi based rock band Ashtoreth at HRC. Formed in 1998 in New Delhi, Ashtoreths music Styles are Blues, Rock N Roll and Hard Rock. Essentially a Rock N Roll Band. We draw influences from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Tesla, Guns N Roses, Cinderella, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden and Whitesnake among others. Our own inimitable style is a confluence of classic rock influences fused with progressive blues and hard hitting lyricism. The bands repertoire consists of Covers as well as Originals; All covers are renditions, taking nothing away from the originals yet infusing them with embellishments which reflect the bands understanding and original takes.The band has a strong view for quality music and believes in true musicianship. The band has played numerous concerts as Ashtoreth including The Great Indian Rock (Mumbai & Delhi), IIT Delhi Finals( 2 Ocassions), Bits Pilani Finals (2 Ocassions), Razberry Rhinocerous(2003), and various gigs in the country. The band members include Manjit Joseph on Lead Guitar, Malanthou Pamei on Vocals, Leo Jain on Keyboards, Sumit Sharma on Guitars, Aryaman Chhaterjee on Drums and Pranave Gawri on Bass.
