Robot Village SPRING KIDS' CLASSES SERIES 1: April 10 to May 31 April 10, 2007

Robot Village is offering these exciting Spring workshops for kids aged 8 to 11!

“Robot Guts” Part II: Mechanics! Children will explore the concepts of speed, torque, momentum and force using gears, pulleys, levers and simple machines.
Lego Mindstorms NXT! This workshop is for children who have taken an NXT intro class and have learned the basics of building and programming. In this next class, your child will be challenged to design and program their own Mindstorms Rover to survive through a series of mazes and games.

Two-Bot Challenge: Jungle Robot & Sumo Robot! In this hands-on workshop, your child will build two robots! The first is a sound-activated Jungle robot. The second is a super warrior Sumo robot. Ultimately, all robots will compete in an exciting wrestling match where one sumo robot will be chosen Grand Champion (yokozuna)!
