Roberto Salas: Cuba, A Revolution in Pictures November 8, 2007

The son of accomplished Cuban photographer Osvaldo Salas, the younger Salas caught the attention of Fidel Castro, when at 16 he published a photo in Life magazine of the Statue of Liberty draped in a Cuban flag. Salas shares slides and his early experiences as the state photographer documenting Castro.
