Robert is a consummate artisan. After he began performing stand-up comedy in the new York clubs where his first big break came, his routines were received so well that Rodney Dangerfield hired Robert to write for him. His TV and film career includes the HBO sitcom 'Arli$$,' 'Good Morning Vietnam,' 'Batman' and 'Bull Durham.'
