Robert Shepard: The Art of Documentary Cinematography – is a workshop on documentary filmmaking, lighting and camera techniques
Robert Shepard, is one of today’s most respected cinematographers with over 200 documentary, dramatic, commercial, and sports films to his credit, including the “Eyes on the Prize” series and many others.
This course will benefit working professionals, film/video students and aspiring documentary filmmakers; addressing their production needs.
The one-day cinematography course will cover – control of contrast, composition, camera movement and lighting. The course will give insider tips on creating low-cost ways to create classic lighting for documentary style interview and vérité style lighting situations. The course will show how to control and create proper contrast, especially when shooting outdoors.
