Concordia University hosts a free Books & Coffee event with Robert Schultz.

Award-winning poet and novelist Robert Schultz reads from and discusses his novel, The Madhouse Nudes, as well as poetry recently published in the Virginia Quarterly Review and other publications, in collaboration with Vietnamese artist Binh Danh. Previous books by Schultz, a novelist, poet and essayist, include two collections of poetry, Vein Along the Fault and Winter in Eden, and a work of nonfiction, We Were Pirates: A Torpedoman’s View of the Pacific War, forthcoming from the Naval Institute Press. He has received a National Endowment for the Arts Literature Award in Fiction, Cornell University's Corson Bishop Poetry Prize, and, from The Virginia Quarterly Review, the Emily Clark Balch Prize for Poetry.
