This fall, the visionary Quebecois director Robert Lepage will apply his unparalleled artistry to the Metropolitan Opera`s season, specifically to Berlioz`s La Damnation de Faust, a searing contemplation of good and evil. Using projections and his trademark theatricality, Lepage has created a vision for the opera that seamlessly marries art and technology. Marcello Giordani will star in the title role opposite Susan Graham as Marguerite and Canadian John Relyea as Méphistophélès. James Levine will conduct this long-awaited production of the rarely staged Berlioz masterwork. Please visit for specific performance dates and times.
