Roadrunners! Benefit Art & Wine Dinner March 2, 2008

If you love roadrunners and want to support a good cause, consider buying a ticket to an Art & Wine Dinner at the Ranchers Club in the Hilton Hotel.

The event is March 2, 2008 and all profits from the tickets go to the Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center.

There will be a four course meal with WINE INCLUDED (!) for the price of $75 per ticket. 2 artists will be showing their work on the great state bird: Neal Ambrose Smith, printmaker, and Sarah Silverman Bonneau, photographer.

Sarah has been keeping a diary on the birds in her yard for almost 2 years and has taken over 8000 images of the birds, unlike any roadrunner pictures you have ever seen. Neal has done interpretations on several of her photographs, and both artists have agreed to silent auction their prints that night with a portion of those proceeds also going to the Friends of the Nature Center.
