The Royal Navy’s premier airshow will take place on Saturday 23rd June 2012 at RNAS Yeovilton with an extensive flying and static display featuring UK and foreign military aircraft, historic and modern. The Air Station is notably home to the Lynx Helicopter Force, Commando Helicopter Force and the Royal Navy Historic Flight with its rare collection of naval aircraft. The air show will be commemorating 30 years of the Falklands Campaign and celebrating Armed Forces Day.
Throughout the day, families will also have the chance to enjoy plenty of entertainment on the ground including the Fleet Air Arm Museum, interactive military displays, Royal Marines Band, classic and military vehicle exhibitions, funfair, simulators, helicopter pleasure flights, trade stalls and much more.
Parking is free and tickets will be available in advance from April at £16 Veterans/Armed Forces/Senior, £18 Adult and £5 Child (U16). Tickets on the day will be £23 Adult and £8 Child (U16).
