Drummer RJ Spangler brings classic blues roots with a jazzy twist to Richmond for the first time as his Blue 4 band with keyboard wizard Bill Heid takes the Capital Ale House stage to kick off of an east coast tour. The band will showcase their Eastlawn Records release You Know I Can’t Refuse (awarded 3 1/2 stars by Downbeat magazine) and pay tribute to legends Jimmy Witherspoon, Floyd Dixon, Ray Charles, Amos Milburn, and Joe Turner. Two separate cabaret style seating shows – Admission: $15 per show. Presented with the support of the Richmond Jazz Society and River City Blues Society.
