Jose B. Gonzalez has published poetry in various journals including, Callaloo, Palabra, and Quercus Review, and collections such as Latino Boom: An Anthology of U.S. Latino Literature, which he also co-edited. He has been a contributor to NPR and has been featured in the nationally syndicated show, American Latino TV. He has presented throughout the country, including Harvard University, the Bowery Poetry Club, and Gemini Ink. He is a national award-winning educator, and has been the New England Association Teachers of English Poet of the Year. He is the editor of LatinoStories.Com and teaches at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.
