River City Rollergirls present: 5th Annual Season's Beatings December 4, 2010

On December 4th the River City Rollergirls will host an all day Roller Derby Event with doors opening at 1:00pm with fun scrimmages all day and a full length bout at 6:00pm with the Poe's Punishers vs Charlotte Rollergirls.
The Charlotte Rollergirls are a WFTDA apprentice league who are known to be strong contenders against already active ranked leagues in the WFTDA. The Poe's are ready to dish out some more punishment to the other ladies in purple in what will close out their 2010 season.
Right before the Poe's Punishers bout, our very own Uncivil Warriors will take on the Charlotte B-Dazzlers in a short expo bout.

The rest of the day will be filled with 30 min scrimmage bouts with fun themes like Ninjas vs Pirates, Glams vs Goths, Zombies vs Robots, Santa's Slayers vs Ho Ho Ho's and Mars vs Venus. These teams will be filled will girls (and a few guys) from all over VA and the country looking to have a good time and a good challenge.

There will be extra fun kids' activities and vendors all day! This will be a GREAT place to get in some holiday shopping while enjoying the fast-paced action of roller derby.

This event is family friendly and all day long bring a seat cushion and anything that makes you comfortable on a day full of Roller Derby.
