Ritz & Revelry presents "The Garden of Love" Valentine's Day Vaudeville Revue February 11, 2012

From the ashes of Richmond Varietease comes the next chapter in Richmond entertainment....

There was a period in American entertainment history when a night out on the town consisted of dinner, dancing and a show. Live entertainment was a bevvy of beautiful dancing chorus girls, sultry jazz singers, knee-slapping comedians, oddball acts and amazing, talented dancers.

Well, Richmond, it's time to escape to the golden age of entertainment once more with the debut of Ritz & Revelry!

In a show like no other, Ritz & Revelry is an homage to the glamorous stage show made popular by the Ziegfeld Follies and others that catapulted actors such as Charlie Chaplin, Gene Kelly, Will Rogers and Red Skelton into stardom.

In our debut show, we are paying tribute to St. Valentine and the wonderful thing we call love!

From lovers to love birds to comedic menage a trois, this show is filled to the brim with top-notch talent and side-splitting antics including Richmond's only dancing flapper duo, The Garter Snaps; the acrobatic tap dancing stylings of Mr. Chris Chaos; the tantalizing posterior moves of Ms. Ophelia Derriere; Carnegie Hall songstress Ms. Erin Devine; and the comedic antics of the Richmond Comedy Coalition.
