Rising Tide III - New Orleans' Annual Blogger and New Media Conference August 21, 2008

The Third Annual Rising Tide Conference on the Recovery of New Orleans begins on Friday, August 22nd, with a meet and greet event at Buffa's Lounge, 1001 Esplanade Avenue. The following day, John Barry, author of Rising Tide: The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 and How It Changed America, will be the keynote speaker, 9:30 am Aug. 23, 2008 at Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center, 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd , New Orleans, LA 70113. Rising Tide, sponsored by the New Orleans blogging community that formed after Hurricane Katrina, is open to the entire community.
