Rio Grande Clean Up May 20, 2006

As part of National River Clean-Up week, the city of Albuquerque Open Space division is sponsoring a community clean-up day for the Rio Grande.

Be a part of this effort for the Rio Grande and its bosque. In our continuing effort to restore the natural beauty of the bosque and make it one of the premier destinations in Albuquerque, the Open Space Division would like to encourage the community to participate in this year?s event either at an Open Space sponsored event, or organize your own!

Open Space will provide trash bags and trash bag pick up.

WHERE TO MEET:

Meet at the southwest corner of Bridge Street and the Rio Grande.

Address/Directions: From I-25, exit Cesar Chavez Ave. and travel west. After crossing the bridge take an immediate right into an unmarked parking area. Event check in is on the southside of the bridge. Participants may walk underneath the bridge to access registration.
