Right Start Grand Opening Weekend October 21, 2011

Right Start, a premier baby gear retailer, is launching the opening of its new Cherry Creek North store with a variety of events planned for parents, parents-to-be and families. Starting on Friday, October 21, grand opening events will focus on safety with a visit from the KlaasKids Foundation, in addition to providing parenting tips, product knowledge and fun activities. Over $5,000 in giveaways will be awarded throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, October 22, Right Start is sponsoring a free Print-A-Thon in partnership with the KlaasKids Foundation from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This fingerprinting and photographing event aims to promote and educate parents, caretakers and relatives about the importance of being proactive in regards to child safety. Each child will receive digitized fingerprints, an updated photograph, a DNA Collection Kit, proactive child safety tips and a 9-point plan on what to do in the occurrence of a missing child, all at no charge.

Another spotlight will be on the “Baby 411” book signing from bestselling, local authors Denise and Alan Fields on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Fields co-wrote “Baby Bargains” and have been featured guests on NBC’s “TODAY” program, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” ABC’s “20/20” and more.

Other notable events include an appearance by The Denver Cupcake Truck, a Clek Car Seat Safety Event, a Bugaboo Donkey stroller demonstration, Ceramic Impressions with Blessings From Above, several story times and a pumpkin decorating event.
