The “Ride the Coast” non-competitive, charity motorcycle event is the only police-escorted ride in California. The 70-mile ride starts at Santa Ana Auto Mall, guides riders through the canyons of Orange County, down to the coast and ends at the Irvine Lake Blues Festival where riders can enjoy food, drink and live entertainment. Proceeds raised from the event benefit Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana.
Around 800 to 1,000 riders are expected to participate in Ride the Coast. Lead sponsors include Waste Management and AT&T. Additional sponsors include Orange Coast Magazine, S&A Properties, Griffin Structures, C&C Development, Gas Company, ICI Development, First American Corporation and Southern California Edison.
