Ricky Martin was one of the biggest teen idols in Latin America during the '90s. A lead singer of Menudo, Martin's great looks and exceptional voice helped him become a Latin music star. He later became an actor, first in Mexican features and TV, then landing a role on the ABC soap opera 'General Hospital,' playing bartender Miguel Morez. He left the soap to perform on Broadway in 'Les Miserables.' His worldwide pop stardom began in earnest with his first English language album, 1999's 'Ricky Martin,' yielding such Top-10 hits as 'Livin' La Vida Loca' and 'Cup of Life.' A year later, Martin sizzled again with the release of 'Sound Loaded.' After another Spanish release in 2003, Martin returned in 2005 with 'Life.' His newest release, 'MUSICA+ ALMA+ SEXO,' takes him on his 2011 world tour.
