Richmond Varietease Two Year Anniversary Show! June 11, 2011

In 2009, we jump-started the heart of burlesque in Richmond by introducing the Commonwealth's first monthly burlesque show. Here we are, 2 years later, still going strong! And that's reason enough to party!!

We're celebrating our birthday the best way we know how: Half-naked and with an all-star cast!

From the Big Apple, our special guest this month is "the alabaster beauty" Miss Ruby Valentine! This sexy seductress will shimmy and shake her way into your heart! Fun fact for all you "Mad Men" fans, you can watch Ruby perform at the Slipper Room in the very first episode of the show!

We also are pleased to have Richmond's most delectable dish Deepa de Jour joining us for this very special celebration. You don't want to miss what this curvaceous coquette has cooked up!

Providing the vaudeville flair for the evening is everyone's favorite unicyclist juggler Jonathan the Juggler!! Will he juggle knives? Chainsaws? Kittens? You'll have to be there to find out!

Celebrating this special birthday occasion wearing nothing but a smile are your producers, Boo Boo Darlin' and Dolli Holiday.

And, of course, no show would be complete without Richmond's best drag performer and favorite host, Miss Magnolia Jackson Pickett Burnside!

As an added gift to you, our fans, we will be debuting a brand new Varietease stage! Can Richmond handle all this sparkle? We will find out!
