Richmond Famous: Live improv comedy ft. Herschel Stratego March 11, 2011

The Richmond Comedy Coalition is teaming up with local personalities to present their all-improvised monthly show series, RICHMOND FAMOUS.

Similar to The UCB's hit show ASSSCAT, this totally unscripted live series pits never-before-told stories from RVA celebs against the wits of the Coalition's improvisers. Watch the Coalition twist their guest's true tales into unpredictable parallel dimensions of hilarity. What unfolds onstage is as much a mystery to them as it is to you, creating a show so funny you’d swear it was scripted.

This month, the Coalition welcomes guest HERSCHEL STRATEGO to the Gallery5 stage!

Picked as Richmond's Best Singer-Songwriter by onewayrichmond.com, Herschel has played many venues (including festivals and benefits), bringing along his combination of ukulele playing and singing, storytelling, improv, audience participation, monologues or speeches, readings, comedy, media presentations, tricks and antics--a mix showing how his attempts reach for going beyond lyrics and melody or jokes and laughs.
