Richmond Comedy Coalition Presents:
A Night of Live Improv, Sketch, and Stand-Up Comedy

Started by a group of young comedy veterans, the Richmond Comedy Coalition (RCC) is a collective dedicated to producing live shows that push the envelope of what you might expect from this city. Starting in October they’ll be teaming up with Gallery 5 as a venue for their fresh and unique brand of comedy. They’re on a mission to change the way Richmonders look at this art form on the local level. “We want Richmond to get excited about going to see live comedy shows. Cities like New York and Chicago have such a thriving scene, especially with avenues like improv gaining popularity. We don't see any reason for Richmond to be left behind,” says Jenni Goldsby who, at the age of 22, has almost a decade of experience performing comedy.

So what can you expect? A lineup of exciting shows that run the gamut of comedy. The company’s members have a strong background in improv, sketch, stand-up, and the indescribably quirky acts that fall in between. The RCC is excited to continue their momentum with their debut at Gallery 5 on October 28th and can’t wait to see you there.
