What is the Richmond Bluegrass Marathon Jam?

A special event where local music fans of all ages gather each year to hear and play music with the goal of raising money to support the Richmond Fisher House, a home away from home for the families of veterans and active duty soldiers recuperating at Richmond’s McGuire Veterans Medical Center.

We’ll have 18+ of the best regional bluegrass bands playing their hearts out for the cause and, as always, we’ll have a variety of great food available including some tasty barbecue and your favorite beverages!

If you’re a musician, bring your instrument and you’ll find plenty of room to pick with some new or old friends! Each year we have over 1500 people attend and the atmosphere is simply amazing. We expect a growing crowd this year, all in support of a very worthy cause!
