Pulitzer Prize-winning author and noted nuclear historian Richard Rhodes will speak about his new book, “Hedy’s Folly: The Life and Breakthrough Inventions of Hedy Lamar, the Most Beautiful Woman in the World,” Feb. 27, 7:30 p.m., in Camp Concert Hall at the University of Richmond. A dessert reception and book signing will follow.

Rhodes is author or editor of 24 books including “The Making of the Atomic Bomb,” which won a Pulitzer Prize in nonfiction and “Dark Sun: The Making of the Hydrogen Bomb,” which was shortlisted for a Pulitzer in history. Rhodes has been a visiting scholar at Harvard and MIT and a host and correspondent for different television series, including “Frontline” and “American Experience.”

The event is part of the 2012-13 Jepson Leadership Forum and is cosponsored by the University of Richmond’s history and journalism departments.
