“LaTiDo” is the Spanish word for heartbeat and also a play in words with the three musical notes: La-Ti-Do.“LaTiDo” is a quartet led by Edgardo Cambón that specializes in Latin danceable traditional music styles. From the Cuban flavor of Buena Vista Social Club to the New York Salsa grooves of Rubén Blades, passing thru Celia Cruz and Trio Los Panchos, from a romantic Bolero-Ballad, to a spicy Cha-Cha-Cha and the upbeat Mambo, LaTiDo’s music is equally enjoyable to the avid dancer and the discerning listener.

Since 2003, this explosive quartet has garnered a great reputation throughout the Bay Area among dancers and listeners alike, having performed to sold out audiences at reknowned venues including Yoshi’s, Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Stanford Jazz Concert Series, San José Jazz Festival, the Sonoma Jazz Festival and more.

“LaTiDo’s” music takes us back in time, invites us to dance, and is equally enjoyed by the casual listener. Close intricate vocal harmonies, the rhythmic pulse of the Bongó drum and Bass, the unique sound of the traditional Tres Guitar (a three double set string instrument developed in Cuba) the Flute and the lively compositions are pleasing to the ears, the heart and the soul.

Featuring:
Edgardo Cambón: Congas, Bongó, Cajón and lead Vocals.
Camilo Landau: Tres, Electric Guitar, Vocals.
Juan Ceballos: Flute, Guiro, Maracas and Vocals.
