RH Quaytman - Index: Chapter 20 January 18, 2011

In her work of the last decade, R.H. Quaytman has explored the proposition that a painting can both illustrate particular experiences of the world and embody them. This exhibition will be the first survey of Quaytman's mature project, which has evolved to include thirteen interrelated but topically distinct groups of paintings she has organized as "chapters" in her own meta-narrative.
