The Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus (CGMC) kicks off their 2008-09 concert season with Revolt of the Elves! For those who thought only the French Revolution could inspire a musical of epic proportions, wait ‘til they see what happens at the North Pole. Fed up with poor working conditions, Norman the elf inspires his comrades in the toy factory to rise up against their big fat boss. Will Christmas be cancelled? Will Norman be jailed? Revolt of the Elves! will take place on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 3:00 pm and 8 pm at the Athenaeum Theatre, located at 2936 N. Southport Ave. on Chicago ’s North side. Tickets are available after November 10th at the theater’s box office and through Ticketmaster.
