Revealing Character: Robb Kendrick's Texas Photographs November 16, 2006

In the past few years, Robb Kendrick has traveled to 76 countries and all seven continents. Not bad for someone born in the tiny town of Spur, Texas. Kendrick works for National Geographic, Life, Sports illustrated, Audubon, and Smithsonian. He also photographs advertising campaigns for such clients as Texas Tourism, Eddie Bauer and Frost Bank. As much as he loves shooting with his 35mm camera, Kendrick's true passion has become wet plate photography on tin, known as tintype, a technique used during the mid-19th century.
