Rev Billy Benefit for St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery (To Fix the Roof) May 9, 2004

Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir, fresh from a Kurosawa-esque journey aiding Wal-Mart resistors throughout California, will sing and sermonize us all a little closer to a Mother's Day without Hallmark. Most importantly, we'll raise funds to fix the roof on St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery, which has offered maternal succor to so many artists and movements. So take Mom to the Church of Stop Shopping, because the FTD delivery guy has been eyeing her a little too intently.
