Reverend Billy, the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir and the Not Buying It Band take to the Highline Ballroom stage on Sunday, November 4 at 2pm! Tickets $12 at highlineballroom.com

The new city plan: Bus shelters and news-stands and hydrants and lampposts will turn into televising shapes. Glowing logos, smiling advertisements will flood the New York streets like the water in Al Gore's film. The Happy Face of corporate-talk will smoke out the last remnants of public space.

And being unhappy about this is not an act of social conscience, because unhappiness is only a market for pharmaceuticals. Reciting the First Amendment in a park, shouting it with anger, will attract a circle of Happy Faces.

Join us on November 4th at the Highline Ballroom, less than two weeks out from the November 16th release of our documentary produced by Morgan Spurlock, What Would Jesus Buy? We will sing and pray and baptize more babies into a Consumption-free life. We will break through that circle of Happy Faces... Amen!
