Measuring Return on Marketing (ROI for the Rest of Us) is a one-day course designed for mid-level marketing managers who'd like to learn how to better substantiate the value of their marketing campaigns. The course takes a practical approach to measuring marketing return, introducing the basic concepts behind calculating return on investment (ROI) and other commonly-used marketing metrics. Participants will learn the basics of marketing measurement, look at accepted measurement tools and techniques, and develop an understanding of how to identify critical variables and dependencies. Leave with an action plan for implementing measurement activities within your own organization. Presumes a working knowledge of basic marketing concepts.
The course is taught by Linda Popky, President of L2M Associates, a Redwood City-based strategic marketing company that helps organizations improve their bottom line by more effectively leveraging their investment in marketing programs, processes and people. Her clients range from startups and small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Linda has over 25 years experience in technology and B2B marketing, including experience with companies such as Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, and Network Appliance. She is also affiliated with Marketing Operations Partners, where she leads the ROI Management and Marketing Competency Development practices.
