Rethinking the City, Rethinking our Role April 29, 2009

The symposium is on Wednesday, April 29th at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Main Jury Room of Goldsmith. The time is from 12-2.30 with lunch provided for the first 40 attendees.

There are three main components for the forum:

1.Rethinking Our Cities: Presentation by Alex Gilliam, Doug Campbell, and Stephanie Perrone under the advisement of Professor Simon Atikinson at the University of Texas.
2.Rethinking Our Role: Several key architects/community leaders will be presenting, such as; Michael Gatto (ACDDC, Austin), Brent Brown (Building Community Workshop, Dallas), and Yamani Hernandez (Chicago Public School System).
3.How to do it: A Roundtable/Breakout session: This gives students and professionals an opportunity to visit with presenters about their organizations and how they do their work.
