International humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger, in partnership with leaders from the food and beverage industry, will host its annual Restaurants Against Hunger Benefit on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at New York City’s Touch. All proceeds from the evening support Action Against Hunger’s work to save the lives of children threatened by acute malnutrition in some 40 countries around the world.

Guests will enjoy tastings and cocktails to the live tunes of indie rocker Clara Lofaro. The event features asilent auction of gift certificates from participating restaurants, hotels, andgourmet purveyors and the chance to mingle with Jacques Pepin, among other top chefs.
