Resonance Jazz, a one-of-a-kind Bay Area jazz octet marrys sounds of an unusual jazz orchestration that includes strings and vocals, with women playing up front.

Performances offer a rich composite of original standards by Steve McQuarry, Bandleader and creative arrangements of jazz standards, from Duke Ellington to George Gershwin, and Keith Jarrett.

Band members have performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Clare Fischer, Jethro Tull, Oakland Jazz Choir, Mingus Amungus, Gloria Estefan, and the Marin and Berkeley Symphonies.
