This year?s RESFEST showcases the world's most innovative short films and music videos.

The festival kicks off with a keynote presentation by acclaimed filmmaker Mark Romanek, director of some of the most memorable music videos of all time (Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Jay-Z).

Special programs include a video retrospective of the prolific, genre-busting music pioneer Beck, from his first video for the breakout hit ?Loser? to rare and unseen videos, a director retrospective of Scandinavian director collective Traktor, whose award-winning work includes the Jukka Brothers plus music videos for Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim and Prodigy, and the World Premiere of Doug Pray?s new documentary Infamy, an intense journey into the lives of seven notorious graffiti writers in New York City, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. Doug Pray is best known for directing the critically acclaimed feature documentaries Scratch and Hype!; Ginga: The Soul of Brazilian Football, a fascinating and dynamic documentary from the producers of City of God; and two rarely seen Mike Mills' films -- Not How Or What But Why But Yes featuring actors from his upcoming feature film Thumbsucker and The Architecture of Reassurance.

On Saturday evening RESFEST presents a special live music event featuring Prefuse 73 and DJ Nobody with guest visuals artists in front of the Egyptian's big screen.
