Case Western Reserve University will celebrate research and innovation as it hosts its fifth annual Research ShowCASE on April 11 and 12, bringing together hundreds of students, scientists and scholars to display and learn about the latest research on topics as diverse as bio-imaging and race relations. Held at Veale Convocation Center on the Case campus, the two-day, free community event highlights the research taking place at Case and its collaborating institutions, including University Hospitals, MetroHealth System, the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic.

More than 500 undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral students and faculty members from every school and college at Case will display their research via posters, live demonstrations and other media. Additional activities at Research ShowCASE include provocative forums that highlight research in the context of current local and global issues and the commercial aspects of research and discovery
