There is no limit to the amount of people you can bring!

The location listed is not where Angela Shelton is going to be personally, but this event is nationwide at every county courthouse possible!

The Report IT Campaign is a national movement created to raise awareness on the vast under-reporting of sexual assault including rape, incest, and abuse. This campaign will official launch in February culminating with a nationwide state-to-state protest on April 29, 2008.

WHAT DO YOU DO?
You buy Angela's book Finding Angela Shelton on April 1st (www.findingangelashelton.com), meet up with other survivors at your local Barnes and Noble, and then unite, network, and make plans to Report sexual violence that has happened to you or someone you love and show up on Angela Shelton Day - April 29th at your local county courthouse. Go to reportitnow.org to find out more!

The Report IT Campaign features an online reporting system to gather statistics on the occurrences of sex crimes. It has been shown that over 80% over sexual assaults go unreported yet 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetimes! The silence that cloaks these crimes allows this public health crisis to continue. Moreover, sexual assault survivors across the country are often re-victimized upon reporting the crime to the authorities.

On April 29 hailed Angela Shelton Day, protests will be organized by PAVE: Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment (pavingtheway.net) in every state to showcase solidarity of our collective efforts to end sexual violence as well as a call to action for police officers to stop re-victimizing survivors.
