Renaissance Venice: Drawings From the Morgan August 23, 2012

Featuring some seventy masterpieces of drawings, books, maps, and letters from the Morgan's holdings, the exhibition 'Renaissance Venice: Drawings from the Morgan' chronicles the artistic production of the city of Venice and its territories during the republic's Golden Age, the sixteenth century. The exhibition features striking examples by great masters of the period, including Paris Bordone, Vittore Carpaccio, Lorenzo Lotto, Jacopo Tintoretto, Titian and Paolo Veronese.
