Remembrance Day November 11, 2012

Memorial Service: CFIOGHQ Det GA will attend a memorial ceremony located at the graveside of Leading Aircraftman Frank Arthur Junior Smith located in the Greenwood Cemetery, in Atlanta, GA.
Frank Arthur Junior Smith, son of Georgia residents Frank Arthur and Fannie Smith, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII and died on September 19, 1941 at the age of 24.
Directions to gravesite: Lot 3, Sec A, Grave 8
After entering Greenwood Cemetery, follow the drive to the fountain
2. Bear left up the hill past the Holocaust Memorial
3.Turn right at the top of the hill
4.Proceed eastward until you see the number 20, painted on the road to your left
5.You will be facing the Stokes family mausoleum and the Hargrave monument will be to your left next to the road in Section A at Column 20
6.Proceed north towards the tree line on the other side of Section A. You will see the Smith family Granite Monument. Leading Aircraftman Frank Arthur Junior Smith's plot marker is flush with the ground on Grave 8.
