Remembering the Dream: A Celebration of the Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr January 19, 2008

United Blind of Seattle representatives Julie Brannon and Janet Christopher-White, along with the Rev. Shirley Peoples of the Martin Luther King Baptist Church in Renton, will discuss the life of King, the civil rights movement and current civil rights activities. The celebration will also include musical performances by the New Hope Male Chorus from the New Hope Baptist Church in Seattle's Central District and soloists Quincy Daniels of the Central District's Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church and Verna D. Greene-Hailey.
