Remember Remember’s debut is described by Clash as “a quite wonderful debut record” thanks to “cinematic lusciousness…brilliant luminescence… atmospheric arrangements…considerable depth”. Strong words all and not unsuited to this maverick outfit’s unique sound which includes melody, hints of prog rock, Belle and Sebastian chiming rhythmical sections, and samples, such as the sound of a can of Irn Bru fizzing, and much more besides.
