RELAY FOR LIFE OF WINTER SPRINGS! FRIDAY MAY 16 AT 6PM - SATURDAY MAY 17, 2008 AT NOON AT THE WINTER SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL TRACK.

Relay For Life® is a fun-filled overnight event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in our community.

It’s a time and place where people come together and CELEBRATE those who have survived cancer, REMEMBER those we’ve lost, and FIGHT BACK against a disease that touches too many lives.

Won’t you join us this year and be a part of Relay on May 16, 2008?

It’s not just an opportunity to CELEBRATE, REMEMBER, and FIGHT BACK! Your involvement will help the American Cancer Society work toward a mission of ELIMINATING cancer as major health issue and strive toward a future where cancer does not take the lives of our friends and family.

Teams will gather at the Winter Springs High School Track and take turns walking laps. However, Relay is much more than a walk around a track! It’s a time to REMEMBER those lost to cancer and CELEBRATE those who have survived.

During this event, we honor survivors during the Survivors Lap and we remember those we lost to cancer during the Luminaria Ceremony. Most importantly, Relay gives you the power to FIGHT BACK in the battle against cancer.
