Reidfest: An Evening to Celebrate Robert Reid - His Typography, Graphic Design, Letterpress Printing November 16, 2007

Reidfest, a celebration of Robert R. Reid. Reid has had a life long fascination, interest in and participation in fine printing. In Vancouver in 1949 he designed and printed Fraser Mines Vindicated and went on to publish and design many more beautifully printed books as well as mentoring several young designers. He had an important design career in both Montreal and New York. Reid now lives in Vancouver and remains active in printing, design work and mentoring younger printers/designers. This is the Annual Yosef Wosk-Friends of Special Collections-Alcuin Society Lecture.

Keynote speakers include Takao Tanabe, Charlie Mayrs, Rollin Milroy and Peter McNally.
